If a header row is included in the copied information and this option is enabled, the header information will be included in the main table area instead of being placed into column headers.

  • Header Row - If a header row is included in the information copied to the clipboard, enable this option.
  • Using the dialog, data can be easily copied into the List panels in table format from Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. When the Smart Grid Paste dialog is opened, this section is filled with information from the clipboard. To access the Smart Grid Insert version of this dialog, from the PCB List and PCBLIB List panels (in Edit Mode), right-click then select Smart Grid Insert from the context menu or use the Ctrl+Ins shortcut keys. To access the Smart Grid Paste version of this dialog, from the PCB List and PCBLIB List panels (in Edit Mode), right-click then select Smart Grid Paste from the context menu or use the Shift+Ctrl+V shortcut keys. The Smart Grid Insert variation of the dialog allows you to insert new rows into the List panels. The selected tables from the List panel fill the bottom half of the dialog. Select the PCB List panel or PCBLIB List panel content you would like to update before opening the dialog. Use the included options to control what of that information is then transferred into the List panel(s). When data is copied from a spreadsheet (Such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets) before opening the dialog, the top half of the Smart Grid Paste dialog will contain the table information from the clipboard.

    The Smart Grid Paste dialog allows you to alter the value of existing objects from pasted tabular data. This dialog has two variations: the Smart Grid Insert version (back) and the Smart Grid Paste version (front).
